I've been staring at this fucking box for about an hour now trying to formulate thoughts into words. Words you can all understand and relate to. I doubt I'll reach that goal though. I don't think I can respond with words that make sense, but hell why not give it a whirl - nothing's ever that simple anyway, right?

All this time I'd been thinking that you had wanted to break it off just as I had wanted to. Maybe that's what made it easier for me to just leave and not call you anymore, even though sometimes I held the phone in my hand for twenty minutes, weighing pros and cons.

The only other thing I can say is I miss you. Because it's the only thing that's clear to me right now. It's the only thing I can say without making myself look like an ass.

I didn't want to confuse you. I didn't want to hold you back from something that you wanted. You were so important to me. You still are. I want to see you happy and if you weren't getting that with me, I was willing to let you go until you found the happiness you truly desired.

I miss you too. You could never sound like an ass, baby. I wish you wouldn't say things like that. But, again, I'm brought back to this question. Where do we go from here?
