The aftermath of graduation…

I won’t say it came all too fast or too slow, to me it came just at the right time. I didn’t feel like I had to cry, I just felt a bit sad and happy at the same time though. I was able to sit with one of my friends at least. The rest of them sat on the opposite side, but we could see them right across from us. Oh yeah, as I was walking towards the line I was supposed to be in I remembered that I forgot my wildcat pendant! I saw everyone wearing them and I started to feel out of place. My counselor even tried helping me by offering me hers but when she gave me her keys to look for it in her car I didn't find it. But right before I started walking I saw Trisha and Mommy holding it and they gave it to me through the gates! I was so happy! Haha, darn my forgetfulness. When we started to process in my counselor noticed and said, "Hey, you got it!" I was like, "Yes!"

The thing I’m actually going to miss the most is the school campus other than friends and teachers. I was surprised to see Nathan at the graduation before leaving the bowl. He congratulated me and like always, he said, “Stay out of trouble!” I loved the music that played and the singing! I can remember everything so well still. I don’t want the memories to fade too quickly…

These are some really funny moments when they were calling the whole 640 seniors names out:

1. Two beach balls began flying everywhere until the security and teachers grabbed them away.

2. After they took the beach balls away a few students began to blow bubbles and we started poking them and laughing… Once again security took it away from them. What harm can bubbles bring? Seesh!

3. A little later a naked blow up girl went flying past my head and a lot of people were shocked! I was glad a teacher got it before things got totally out of hand. I thought the other interruptions were harmless but this was totally inappropriate.

Oh well, it livened up things a little bit more.

I wish my dad was able to have a good seat to record everything because a lot of the speeches were very meaningful and I would have liked it if I was able to put some of them in here… I guess I’ll just have to buy the DVD! Hehe Anyway, when I came home I ate a lot of good rice, palabok, ube cake and puto from Goldilocks.

(This is a little out of order but who cares?)

I had a blast right after the graduation practice. Going to Shakey’s with the whole group, probably for the last time. At least I know that I will keep in close contact with the people that I truly care for.

Oh, since I’m on vacation now I’m going to make a major update on my album page soon!
