I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS RIGHT NOW!!!
I just got home from the Oilers v. the Blues, and let me share my feelings with you. If you don't want to be subjected to my many feelings, run while you can.
First, off let me say no one was actually hurt but I may have strongly been considering it. The first people to iginte my ire were the morons behind me who said that the Oilers needed a new goalie because it wasn't Khabby (duh) and it definitely wasn't Dubnyk (let me introduce my hand to your face). Let's not get into how Devan has the best save percentage out of all the goalies playing for teams with under 500 records or how consistent he's been lately. And then Devan goes out there and plays awful! Just fucking horrible. A goal in the first minute. Thanks a bunch Barker, and two more ridiculous ones to get pulled halfway through the second! Fucking great. I love Devan, but even I know he should of done better.
He could have used some more help from his defense which seemed to think it was a seive or the refs/linespeople who were inconsistent on everything from icing to penalties, but he did need to play better. I asked my Dubnynk booblehead when I got home and he agrees.
But the GUYS BEHIND ME! OMG SO FUCKING DUMB!!!! SO FUCKING DUMB! Danis was put in net and I had to sit through such gems as "he's a lot smaller than Dubey." It's like do you realize just how big Dubey is dumb ass! Or Smyth's hit which "Shouldn't have been a major." Sorry, but it should have been. Sad but still fucking true. OR GANGERS SLASHING CALL or a host of other stupid things. But the cake is taken when Nuggent-Hoppkins scored and the building went "NUUUUGE" as we do, and one guy turns to the other and says "Well, they most of called it off because they're booing" OMFG!!! We're not booing you deaf fucker!!!! Also who the fuck doesn't know Eberle was born in Regina and played for the Pats? WHO? And you call yourself an Oilers fan!
TO make matters worse they said Belanger was playing good for us. He was in this game, but he's been pretty poor this season. And Barker! No one should compliment Barker after that turnover in the first minute. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST! They're also guilty of reading over my shoulder as I was checking other score on my phone cause I was looking and thee Toronto and Chicago details when the guy behind me mentioned it. Game results weren't on the big screen at that point.
Highlights of the game... we gave Schultz a warm welcome and the Oilers played hockey for thirty minutes. TOO BAD A GAME IS 60 MINUTES AND I HAD OVER 60 MINUTES OF IDOTIC COMMENTARY! I'm not sure what I think about Schultz. He's determined and works hard. I will give him that. BUT LEFT HANDED PLAYERS> WE HAVE SO MANY OF THEM. FUCK we killed and penalty and two full shifts were all lefties. Another highlight, penalty kill was good.
But I also have a Hall mini-stick to go with my Eberle one. I have an Eberle shirt to complete my kid line, and this years St. Patrick's day green shirt. Also while I'm raging Oilers, why you send Paajavri down? Just don't play him with Belanger because no one plays well with the Belanger triangel(phrase coined by raido personality Jason Gregger) not even Hall tonight!!!
