I bought vampire smut.
So I finally caved in and bought a copy of Twilight since that series seems to be all the rage right now and I'm always one for jumping on the bandwagon. I haven't started it yet, but the taglines on the back seem to offer everything I want: unabashed mindless fluff. No War and Peace for me. I guess when I get around to reading the thing, I'll give my thoughts on it. Speaking of hit series, I wish I could write one. Do you know how kickass it would be to come out with something like Harry Potter or Twilight and then just be able to sit around and do nothing else while movie deals and such bring you a crapload of money? It would be pretty flippin sweet. If only I could come up with something. It doesn't even have to be that original; most successful books aren't. I just need to find good ideas from other stuff that worked and run with it like pretty much every other author has done since Tolkein. I don't really read enough anymore to find good ideas to steal. So it's either come up with something out of thin air right now or my best seller will have to wait =oP Anyone want to help me write it?
