Supernatural+Pokemon
So you know you're a nerd when you start combining your obsessions.
Pretty much the only free time I had since March I've spent with playing Pokemon Black. Not only that, but whatever my current obsession, my Pokemon team's names tend to reflect on it. And since my current obsession is Supernatural...my team definitely shows that.
First of all, when I have both versions of a game generation like Black and White, I always pick to play one as a boy and the other as a girl. Thus, in Black, my trainer is a boy whose name is obviously Dean.
This is Dean's team:
Female Zebstrika- Impala
Lightning horse pokemon that's black and white? What else would there be to name her? Plus her characteristic is 'capable of taking hits'. Utterly perfect.
Male Steelix-Zeppelin
Huge heavy metal pokemon? Absolutely no way I was naming him anything else. And his characteristic? 'Alert to sounds'.
Reshiram-Castiel
Giant white dragon with fluffy white wings. Oh and a pair of bright, piercing blue eyes, not to mention the fire as well. Mine's characteristic is 'study body' and how many times does that certain angel hold together?
Male Umbreon-Hunter
Seriously awesome dark pokemon, with a characteristic of being 'strong willed'.
Male Cinccino-Sammy
An adorable pokemon with loads of long, fluffy fur that every female trainer gushes over. His characteristic is 'highly curious'.
Braviary-Freewill
Total pun off of freedom. Took me about a dozen tries, but I finally caught one with 'highly persistent' as his characteristic.
And thus, the truly shameful levels of my nerdiness have been exposed and established.
