Caving in to creationism?
I was surprised to learn that New Scientist has retracted from the net an opinion piece published both on the net and in their paper magazine. The article now reads:
STORY TEMPORARILY NOT AVAILABLE
New Scientist has received a legal complaint about the contents of this story. At the advice of our lawyer it has temporarily been removed while we investigate. Apologies for any inconvenience.
As with everything on the net, copies are preserved elsewhere, for instance over here. Judging from the contents, it's probably a creationist that's filed a lawsuit. And this is a british magazine, not a US! :-|
