The first blizzard of my career as a Front Ranger

Originally uploaded by shamble. There are about fourteen inches of snow in my yard. It's not supposed to stop until tomorrow around noon. We're supposed to get two feet overall. Neal and I both went home from work this morning and we're beginning to get cabin fever. So is the dog. The state is basically shut down, including our weather-proof airport, where 3,000 people are stranded. The national guard has been called in. People are going down the street on snowmobiles as well as cars. I didn't get my mail. I may have to work tomorrow, though I don't see how that's going to be possible.
Oh, yeah, I finally got a job.
This is actually kind of cool. But I'm still kind of scared.
