As of this Saturday, June 11th I will be a resident of San Francisco! This is seriously something my friends and I have dreamed of since junior high - having an apartment in the city. I mean sure, the place is no larger than a residence hall room, but I have my own kitchen and my own bathroom and my own 8th floor view of the financial district. Graduating college and moving home was kind of anticlimactic, so now it feels a little more final. Graduated college, moving out of mom's house for real, hopefully getting some kind of summer job (or two) and then start law school (eek).
In the month since graduation I have done nothing except gain a few pounds and make a permanent dent in the sofa. So this is it. I am so ready to have my own place and not be in charge! For once in my life I do not want to be in charge and am loving it. Taking care of myself is enough for me for now.
