Well, I really liked Veritas, and the actress who portrayed her. Good job, there. The episode itself had some nice moments, and some very nice moments. Seeing Castiel was great, and once again, the chemistry between Dean and Castiel shone through. The Sam reveal wasn't actually that revealing, but I'm really glad that Dean didn't fall for Sam's little manipulation at the end. That was a nice change from the usual, although Dean's sadness at the end was pretty heartbreaking.
And that's pretty much it for my reaction. I'll wait and see if the story actually goes anywhere, because the previews make it seem like Dean will be motoring around with Sam next week, and frankly, that's exactly what I don't want to see happen. I want there to be follow-through on this storyline. I'm actually not interested in the "Sam came back wrong, part 10" storyline, and I honestly don't understand how Castiel couldn't see that Sam was missing his soul, but whatever. I'm also not interested in revisiting the whole "Big Bad trying to use Sam to destroy the world" retread either, but it looks like original ideas are few and far between on this show.
