This post of mine is pretty short. I know how I feel.
I'm a polytheist. All deities are individual, and separate. They are individuals. I know this greatly contrasts with the beliefs of three of the deities I do revere. The Tridevi are three Hindu Goddeses: Lakshmi, Saraswati and Parvati. Hindus believe in a concept called monism, where it is believed that All Gods are One God, Who has many manifestations. My sister and Fox described it something like this: All Death Gods are One God because they are all "built" on the death God archetype.
I don't believe this. I am not a monist.
It conflicts with the Tridevi, but They came to me before I had ever even heard of monism. When I interact and work with them, I don't feel like They are criticizing me because I'm not a monist.
