This Love, Our Love

Jul 13, 2005 14:17

Love flowing through
Our souls
Like blood through veins
Giving life to broken hearts
And mending even long forgotten wounds
Finding that prayers, although
Sometimes never spoken are always
Heard and answered
Feeling our spirits entangle
And mesh like the most beautiful
Water-color painting ever seen
Feeling the warmth of
Our new love
Like the soft kiss of the sun
In the break of a storm
Feeling that this love,
Our love,
Is true love and
Not an imitation or hallucination
Of what love ought to be
With every shared smile
And every tender glance
We are giving life to a love
That will last
Strength to compensate for
Our moments of weakness
And we are both giving
Love
To hearts that never
Planned on loving again...
But hoped that somehow, someday they could.
