A really good day

I don't always trust things when they are going really well. I tend to fret, waiting for the other shoe to drop.
So I'm trying very hard to be happy right now, and not to fret, because yesterday? Was awesome.

I got the results of my blood panel back. Like I said, since I was a month out from needing all the comprehensive work, they just did my liver panel and the rest all at once, since I was fasting anyway for the liver panel.
The results? BEYOND good. I'm on the low end of all the icky stuff or just at average. This, along with the normal blood pressure thing is just wonderful. My cholesterol is not only in check, it's the lowest the person giving me results over the phone has ever seen. My minerals are all at appropriate amounts. The only thing that was slightly off was my hdl levels. So.. I'll eat more fish. I like salmon, and my brother is a serious fisherman. I'm not pre-diabetic or any of those problems I always worry about because of the news and friends who have type 2 diabetes. AND.. my liver is in great shape. Part of what killed my mom was liver failure and that was in part, caused by damage done to her liver by medication she was on in the 80s. So I always fret about that. She died young. (50)
At this point, my pain levels are doing really well too, the combination of pt, regular exercise, muscle relaxants, motrin and tiger balm have me very nearly human.

Let's see.. Bear Tooth Theater is playing Enchanted, which E wanted to see, and since the Bear Tooth only charges 3.00 for admission and has really good food, I said we would go this weekend. So I told Mike we are going Sunday night as a family thing. He said "Oh! I've got a gift card for there." He never checked the amount of the card, it's $60. Which is more then enough for admission and food for the 3 of us. (W has about as much interest as you'd expect a 17 yo young man to have in it, so he's not going) So... yeah.. that made me happy. I was expecting to just pay for the movie and a plate of nachos to share because of the budget we are on, but we don't have to do that.
The computer thing.. our local compUSA is going out of business, and we saw one there that might work for me for a decent price. Mike was talking to the IT guy at his job, and found out a custom computer place we've considered going to a few times to check out had a better deal on a custom built computer. So we stopped there before going to the gym last night. They are building me what I need for half of what my brother would charge me to build the same thing. I'll be picking it up tonight. So yay! Real computer without going broke! Of course, I'm giving this one to my dad until my brother gets his built. This one isn't great, it's a few years old, but it's better then what they had, and it works.
*happiness*
Oh yeah, and job interview seemed to go really well. (for those who know what I'm talking about it) and Mike's more interested in that big project then he has been any of the times we've discussed it in the past.
