La Te Da
Well today I finally got some new black pants for work. As usual I have to get them hemmed which is annoying, but at least I got new ones that fit now! The other ones were totally hanging off of me and it was...well not nice. Just cause they are so mega old and stretched out. They were missing buttons and all sorts of stuff. So I got one pair with pinstripes and one plain black hopefully becuase I have to get it in the mail cause they had to check if other stores have it.
It was a pretty good day. I hung out with Ashley and we went to lucnh and to the mall. What sucks about all of this though, is that nothing is ever super duper fun. Probably becuase Essam is far away and I always think about how I wish he was here to experience everything with me. But I was really happy that Ash and I finally cordinated schedules and got to hang out. Since tomorrow I have a shorter shift we may try and do it again.
I had hung out with Stephanie a few times before she and Josh left and moved to Florida. I'm really sad they are gone. She and I really clicked and I clicked really well with Josh and I know that Josh and Essam would have gotten along great. Not to mention that I loved her kids.
Plus Steph and I had a lot of common ground to discuss. We both are young, and I'm very newly married and she fairly newly married. It was just fun to talk about the same issues, questions, yada yada. Hopefully Essam and I can go down and visit them sometime.
The good thing is I'm feeling a little more up. Spring is definitely putting more a spring in my step and hopefully the winter duldrums will be permanently leaving us soon. And I know I just gotta keep on pressing.
