In Africa we saw this weird plant that I later identified as Amorphophallus bulbifer for my mom.




This is her reply in an e-mail:

"I keep thinking about the name of that plant...amorphophallus. I wonder what the common name is...penis in vagina??"

(the name is actually from Ancient Greek amorphos, "without form, misshapen" + phallos, "penis")
