You know what would have been nice? If the circuit breaker that was labeled "dining room" actually turned off the dining room lights. Yeah, 120 V going through your body several times is not a fun experience.
Of course, it would also be nice if I was smart enough to double check that the lights were actually turned off after I switched the breaker and before I started unscrewing things.
Went to see Sweeny Todd on Friday night. I don't think I was prepared for that much grusomeness, but I liked the movie a lot.
Yesterday I finished one of the gloves I'm making for Pete Seeger. I don't think it will be a problem to finish them by the 18th.
I went to the Tracey Grammer show at night. It was really special. I didn't have a reservation and it was sold out, so I ended up sitting at a table with two other people at the table right in front of the stage. Besides some great Dave Carter songs they played two of my favorite songs ever - 1952 Vincent Black Lightening (Jim Henry singing) and I've Just Seen a Face (TG singing)
After the show I went to Jon's party. It was good to see all my friends. I have some really great people in my life, and I'm very thankful for that. We introduced Drinking Jenga to lots of other people, which was fun. They didn't know what they were getting themselves into. Haha!
I slept in today, cleaned, talked to Donna on the phone, and tried to install my new light fixture. Of course, since its an antique it wasn't able to attach the way my original light did. So, I need to see if I can buy an adapter or something. I did install a Lutron dimmer though. Ah, the memories!
This is a weird request, but does anyone [local] have old peanut butter jars or similiar jars I could have? They are to use for my egg class, so peanut butter jars are usually good because they have wide mouths and straight sides. I've used some salsa jars too. I need 4 of them. THanks!
