YAY INTERVIEW. Also, clerical is good because it limits contact with the Public. Capital P because that's what they smell like.

I disapprove of Greek stuff, simply because I would prefer you to write Roman stuff *g*

And then somebody else called and wanted to give me a phone interview. I have to wait a couple of weeks as the firm administrator will be out of town until July, BUT IS OKAY. :DDDD

If there were a letter that were pronounced "wee", that would be even better.

I HEAR AND TREMBLINGLY OBEY. Except for the whole thing where I don't *g*

What kind of job is the phone interview for? (Yay you regardless, of course.)

I am all about Messalina at the moment, so feel free to cast aside your Greek blokes and write stories about her instead *g*

It is a legal-secretary position. :D WILL THE PHONE RING TOMORROW? THE SUSPENSE WILL KILL YOU ME.

But then it would all be brainless pr0n. And you were shocked to find boobies in a Sarah Waters novel. TEH HORROR.

Also, I like my Greek blokes. They have penises! And you KNOW what that means. :DDD

Ooh, legal secretary would be good. As long as the lawyers you're working for are decent, anyway ;)

I am more interested in the This Woman Is Prettier Than Me So I Shall Have Her Killed side of things.

...they can wee standing up?

I've never worked for these lawyers before, so I don't know yet ;)

...is there any vicarious living there that I should know about? *g*

*facepalm*

No, no vicarious living at all. The thought of having to shag Claudius makes me all ICKY inside.

I meant in terms of having people prettier than you killed *g*

Do we have any proof that she actually DID shag him? I mean, she was so promiscuous that the kids may not actually have been his ;)

I'd say she probably did, because I don't think even Claudius would've failed to notice a supposed virgin birth. Especially when it happened a second time :D Although the fact that ol' Claud was so eager to put Nero ahead of Brit makes me think that Brit probably looked just like Mnester or someone else similarly non-Claudian *g*

Well, true, and marriage in antiquity was generally invalid unless consummated :D

Maybe Agrippinilla was just better at manipulation. After all, who can you trust if not your own family? ;)

(There used to be a hilarious parody LJ called emperor_nero, written by somebody who obviously had any idea what s/he was doing when it came to the history and Latin aspects. Unfortunately, it's been bahleeted into the ether, which is a shame, because it caused me to make inappropriate noises on public computers *g*)

It still is, in the sense that you can get an annulment rather than a divorce :D

All the good stuff gets bahleeted :(
