school and such

Yeah, so orientation week was intense. 8 days of presentations and meetings from 8AM to 10PM so that I can say I'm trained to be an RA. I got very comfortable with my other Balz staffers. Some of them more than others.

Residents are all cool. All 18 of them. Guys next door have an X-box which is the bane of my existence. I suck at Halo.

Living on Fourth floor Balz is awesome b/c we are prolly the highest up of any of the dorms and we have a very nice view. Maybe I'll take a picture sometime.

APO is going well. We have to fundraise so that we have enough money to buy materials for our pledge project halfway through October. One of the other pledges signed us up to hand out free US Cellular stuff for money and we definitely were'nt supposed to hand it out on campus but we did anyways. And we were also supposed to take digital pictures of us handing the stuff out to ensure to the company that we were doing it and not just throwing the stuff in a dumpster, but we didn't want to bug random people to pose as customers so some of us posed as customers and pretended to look uncomfortable for the camera.

People in APO are good. This one kid Dan keeps snapping at me and I don't know why. We have a party tonight. I'm excited.

My schedule is very nice this semester. I'm only taking 13 credits which makes me happy. Here are the classes.

Intro to American politics
Social Psychology
Abnormal Psychology
Fantasy and Social Values

That last class should be the most interesting. It's an Anthropology class where you read sci-fi novels (including Ender's Game and Dune) and analyze the anthropological aspects of the socities described. Very cool.

I declared Psych major and I'm pretty happy about that. I'm still thinking about a double just because I don't as many electives as I would have with only one major.

That's it.
