What I Did This Summer!!!!
I played a lot of video games, including Naruto 2 that me and Nick bought online. I let FFXI consume my soul for a bit.
I tried reading books. I thought that it would be good to read famous literature just so i can reference it if I need to, but my attention span is still very short for that. I got about three chapters into Moby Dick. Then I read Angels and Demons, prequel to The DaVinci Code. It was good, but then I started the DaVinci Doce and it started off the exact same way that angels and demons started so I got angry and didn't read it. Then I tried to read Deceception Point by the same author and that guy recycles the same story line but makes the book about a different subject. I read The Alchemist on the Europe trip. That was good. Read Harry Potter 4 again. Started reading Fellowship of the Ring, but didn't make much progress. Started reading a self-help book called Verbal Judo which was about becoming a Communication Samurai but school happened and I had to leave.
Got job at the movie theater near my house that doesn't have stadium seating which means only old people come in. I was hired for Spiderman 2. People who work there are way cool or a little scary. We got Yu-gi-oh so there are lots of crazy kids.
The trip to Europe was fun. Me, my sister, and my mom used my brother as a ticket to go along with this big Virginia youth band's bus trip around Europe. Everyone thought I was really old but people were nice when they realized I was only two years older then most of them. London, saw Big Ben, the hames, rode the tube, trafalgar square, Nick had a concert, Piccadilly circus, saw the funny play called Reduced Shakespeare where they made fun of all of Shakespeare's plays, got called on stage to represent Ophelia's ego, so basically I just ran around in circles on stage, actor tricked me into jumping the cue by saying "ready... SET!!!!" and of course I went. -_-^ ate fish and chips.
Rode a ferry to France, saw, Sacre Coeur, Ali fell down, I laughed, top of the Eiffel tower, bought a little painting, went to the Louvre, saw the venus de Milo, my mom made me take a picture of her butt -_- and the Mona Lisa, it was smaller than I thought, saw Notre Dame, Nick had a concert. Ate crepes.
Drove on the bus for a day to get to Switzerland, it was very calming and serene after the hectic days in London and Paris. Went to top of a mountain, took some pictures, made nick pretend to fall off, took a picture, went to a castle, saw a statue of freddy mercury, went to another mountain which was the mountain beside the Matterhorn but it was too cloudy to see so we pretended we were on the Matterhorn, Ali stabbed the Matterhorn with a rock, named a rock the Matterrock, took picture with Matterrock, Nick had a concert, bought swiss army knives. Ate more crepes, this time chocolate ones.
Ate lunch in Lichtenstein on way to Austria, Lichtensteinian pizza is good, bought shirt that said Lichtenstein.
Went to touristy town in Autria, not very fun, went to Innsbrook which is famous for crystal, was sickened by prices of crystal objects, crazy hotel owner was crazy, watched german TV, dancing cockroach, rave hippo, and loaf of bread/waffle guy, all very weird. Nick had a concert but it started raining halfway through. Ate goulash.
Drove to Germany, stopped at Concentration camp, not as sickening as expected, more like a museum or visiting a famous battle ground, stayed in Medieval walled city, people bought really nice weapons for cheap, this kid bought chainmail, Nick had a concert.
Flight back was grood. They had TVs in the backs of the seats for easy viewing and a trivia game you could play with the rest of the plane.
Worked for last month and Rachel visited. Now, I'm moved into my dorm. I have a room all to myself and it was built for two people, so I have two closets and twice the space. I Got a Napoleon Dynamite poster form the movie theater. Tina come get some ham! I start Orientation week. It's going to be hectic, but i should get to know the other Balz RAs. I'm excited and sleepy. Bark
