a long and musically-inclined DiTL
I forgot ditl for a few minutes...but i was awake wicked early anyways. ugh. Stumble to the bathroom, half-asleep.
Feed my basil plant, and then feed myself.
Clothes for me, clothes for baby...bosses' basement is flooded so i took baby's laundry home with me to do.
I get to work and put clothes away, starting with a helper...but by the time i'm done she's gone on to other things. <3
Get the kiddo dressed and pop her in her chair to fix her hair. she has so much now!
We go for a short walk because bebe is le cranky. Then back for a little snack of yogurt and applesauce.
A little music to waste a little time, then it's fiiinally naptime. somewhere around 9:15. lol.
I attempt to take a nap too. it kinda failed. then baby woke up early and when i went to get her, i heard a rumbling...look outside and HOLY CRAP LAMBORGHINI. apparently the guy who owns it did some work on the house? and was picking up his check? I dunno. but i ran outside with the baby and was like "CAN I TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR CAR PLEASE". *drool*
Time to head out! Baby on my back with a cheese stick for her snack, and a chewy bar for me.
Stop at CVS for some wrapping paper for superduckie's wedding present (shhhhh) and then it's time for music class! I *love* Music Together.
SO MANY INSTRUMENTS! SO MANY CURLS! hehehe. this is her favorite part. when we head back home it's drizzling already (wasn't supposed to start til afternoon!) so the umbrella comes out.
Lunchtime! Quinoa with meat sauce for her, pb&j for me. Then she has a dance party :)
Pee with company (oh such fun), and then it's naptime again. time check!
Snacktime. omnomnom. Then i chill out reading. In the middle of naptime, boss-dad shows up with Charlie! A very thirsty Charlie, apparently.
Do some dishes, then baby fiiiiinally wakes up. That was a NICE nap!
After-nap snack: berries and rice cake for her, rice cake with nutella for me (can you tell i'm in an unhealthy-food phase?).
Change a stinkybutt, then playtime in her room while dad's on a work call.
I try anything and everything to amuse the child. including balancing blocks on my head. she gets fussy though, so back on my back she goes for yet another walk.
Zoom zoom out of there as soon as i can, and a little under an hour later arrive home. Parents' house home, that is.
Have some dinner and read the comics while talking to the 'rents.
Then it's choir time! Ah, High Holidays. So freaking early this year. Ugh.
Finally time to drive home in the dark and the rain (so much fun!)...play on my computer for far too long and then finally crash.
