As per usual, went from totally bored to totally swamped in about 0.5 seconds. It sure does take a long time to download 7024 source code files though. Meh.
Life is mostly work, sims, sleep these days. Some eating, some Eve, some board games, some woohoo. More or less even keel though my stomach still gets upset pretty easily. I am feeling very overwhelmed with work again though, and have asked my two bosses to help me prioritize (since every client wants their stuff first, of course). Some of the work sounds like it will be fun, some sounds like a real drag. And as usual the deadlines are unreasonable so we'll have to work some magic there.
Mr. Shags is still having work issues. His boss and his boss' boss are playing "Good Cop/Bad Cop" with him and it stinks. He's having a performance review as we speek. The Good Cop is in favor of him splitting time between the local office and the Houston office to get experience and mentorship. The Bad Cop has her head up her cootchie and keeps getting upset with Mr. Shags for failing to read her mind about what she wants. I feel bad for him but there is nothing I can do besides be supportive.
I found another ding in my car. This time it is the passenger door, looks like someone slammed open their door into mine. Fucktards. I hope they stub their toes.
I feel I've been neglecting everyone with my anti-sociality. I hope no one is taking it personally.
