Olympic Journey
Life is a journey...and I definitely applaude China's olympic journey. It was fun to see and awe inspiring to watch the opening ceremonies. I was impressed by the effort, challenges, and optimism of the Chinese people. After years and years of olympic struggles (even still ongoing), protests, boycotts, etc. they have finally been able to open their country to over 200 other countries of olympic athletes. And I too was touched watching the athletes from each individual country enter the arena. What an amazing event to bring the world together...I hope it's the beginning of a more united world and that the goodwill continues long after the torch is extinquished. Good luck to them all.
