So, as some of you may know, I've been working on my novel. I was going to complete it for NaNoWriMo but it became more about the deadline than making it a good story. the thin dress she wore the night of their first date was transparent in more ways than one. it was obvious to everyone in the restaurant she was there for more than drinks. that was her plan and she didn't care if she was called a whore. at least she was honest about her motives, unlike the socialites she worked for.

anxiety

god, i hate dating. i have so much anxiety about it. either, i'm not good enough for the guy or he's not good enough for me. either way, the date is going to suck and i'm stuck eating grilled chicken when i really want a steak.

collar

the collar of his favorite shirt was covered with the blood of his best friend. he wanted to burn it the moment he got home but the police needed it for evidence. why? he blew his brains out. no need to investigate any further.

they hopped in the car and he didn't tell her where they were going. she was a control freak to the nth degree. so the idea of not knowing her final destination made her hate him for the first time in years.
