G1 - So far, my prediction was right in a sense that the Kings won game 1...except the score was 4-2 with the open net, as opposed to 3-2 so I suppose I was sort of right, didn't expect the open net goal though. Am I pissed that my Nucks took too many penalties? Hell. Yeah. They better smarten up...god. So not pleased at them right now. They can do so much better without taking stupid penalties.
G2 and 3 - I'm so very sad. Just utterly in shock. And disgust. Ugh. We took too many penalties. Their defence is good but I believe we can grind through the cracks and score. Scoring isn't impossible but it seems like this is a mental game. We have the skills, just need to use it to its full potential. That, and we miss the other Sedin. And my god, we skate so slow, we need faster skaters during breakaways.
G4 - Oh baby, now that's some Sedin twin power activate going on there! So glad Daniel is back in the line-up. And we couldn't have done it without Schneider. Luongo's a great goalie but he tends to perform better against other teams besides the Kings. I hope this isn't a blow to his ego and self-esteem. Without Lou, we wouldn't have won President's Trophy and been in the playoffs. People tend to forget that. Other than that, Daniel was the missing link preventing us from being back at 100% and winning much-needed games. So fucking glad he's back. I have a feeling we'll win more games because of him. Before the start of the game, I predicted a 3-1 win. I am finally right on something!
