Game Weekend
Friday I got impatient and pushed Lynn to finish creating his characters. Then the three of us gathered around the table and I ran a game. It's my first game to ever run so there were a few starts and stops but mostly it went as hoped for. Miss Kid seemed to enjoy it and Lynn said he liked it.
Saturday Lynn was up super early to go get tickets for that night's performance at Miller Theatre. I spent the morning dealing with a sense of impending doom. For some reason I had it in my mind that Lynn was going to be in a terrible accident on his way to the theatre. I was very tempted to go down there just to prove to myself that I was being silly but then I was also afraid I'd be wrong and would just end up coming across the accident on the way. Needless to say I was very relieved when he got home. He took a nap and then we did a bit of cleaning up. He'd managed to snag front row tickets to Othello and it was a fantastic performance.
Sunday was a quiet day, we slept in very late and then did a bit more gaming. So far the group has come across gnolls and kobolds as well as one ogre. Other than gaming and dinner there wasn't a whole lot that we did then.
