Weekend Round Up

Weekend:
Friday apisanthrop and Miss Kid came home early since she wasn't feeling well, though she was feeling better after some time in a cool environment and a bit of a rest. I suspect that because they had field day that day she'd just had a bit too much time in the sun and got a bit overheated. We ran off to Wal-mart for few things, including the first new pair of shorts I've had in 3 years! The new ones are a 'little' shorter than the last pair but more contoured so I don't look like a box anymore. I'm ... actually pretty happy with the way my legs and hips look in them. Win!
Saturday we tripped down toward downtown to a Farmer's Market I'd heard about. I wanted to check them out because there'd been talk of them having room for crafters as well. There was none but we found some fantastic local produce, cheese, and meats! I did locate somebody there that had more information about crafter's and what days they have a crafter fair. After a quick stop back at the house to drop things into the fridge we ran off to the park to wonder around. The squirrels were particularly brave but the ducks were also fairly friendly too. I got some really close shots of the squirrels before the batteries died. As a note, if you do go check out the pictures, I use a Sony Cyber-shot so not a huge zoom function. I actually had to zoom out for the squirrels at one point because I was 'that' close.
Sunday was Miss Kid's dance class so it was another early day. After that we came back home and had a relaxing afternoon and evening to wrap up the weekend.
