For anyone who hasn't seen it, LJ now gives us the ability to put our actual birtdate in and select 'unseen' if we're wanting to keep it sekrit! I urge everyone to consider doing this, even for at least a while, to let LJ know we're not all 5 yr olds, or that there are a good deal more users who are NOT in the teen-early 20s age bracket (no matter how much we may wish we were still there sometimes!)
And might also be worth considering making your pup's LJ birthdate active, and more accurate, ie yours, as you are the author/scribe, and again, it will give a more accurate demographic for them.
