Let me start off by saying that I am highly amused.

Last night was St. Patty's, and I had a rather unexplicable need to celebrate with some pomp and circumstance - which I did in a fashion, though not quite the traditional kind that I will need to accomplish next year when it falls on a weekend. I have never really gotten to celebrate before due to being the DD both of the other two years I was legal to drink. Anyway, the plan was to DDR and then dinner/bar. When we got to DDR, we were essentially the only ones playing the machine, which automatically meant I actually played more than once. Here's the amusing part - a crew (well, 2 people) from Fox News was there to do a story on DDR. So the whole hour+ we played they taped us. They asked Amy and Aaron questions (thank god not me) and told us they would contact us about the air date. No, I do not plan to share it with you. Pretty much because I was intially refusing to play while they taped - at least until the guy specifically asked if they could have footage of me playing. When they weren't taping he had already seen how absolutely awful I was at it, especially compared to the others - so I can only assume they wanted someone for the "even idiots who shouldn't move in public can enjoy the game" shot. The "they needed a shot with a girl" argument falls through because they already had Amy. As such, I have no great desire to see my humiliation aired to the greater washington dc area or have anyone else who might remotely know me record it. That said, I'll prolly tell my parents when i move tomorrow anyway ;)

So far today work has been productive - met with the DORS rep and the seniors. I had the custodian tell me I am an idiot to try to find one particular student a job (not ready for the responsibility apparently based on his workstudy performance - I really need a better method to figure that out) I made calls and copies and various other joyous beams of sunshine and then I had lunch duty - which just came to an unexpected conclusion when we discovered we had no kids the second part. During lunch duty though the teacher I was assigned with asked me if I played an instrument and told me I look like a cello player. This is why I am so amused at the moment. I have no musical ability whatsoever, despite my parents vain attempt to find some spark in me. Adrian, however, plays the cello. *giggle*
