ranting / bitching spree
I finally got a new phone last week
yea! another net10 phone
I have no idea what happened to my old paperweight, er...I mean phone
I can't even find any of the old stuff for the old phone to transfer stuff
so I have new stuff to worry about
this phone's supposed to be awesome
well, as awesome as a net10 phone can be I guess
I can take pictures with the thing
supposedly I can even surf the net and have real ringtones too
I even have bluetooth access
for whatever good most of the stuff will do me
it also allows me to listen to music
the problem...
I can't even make a bloody phone call
the SIM card was defective so I had to wait until today for the new one to come in
so now all the phone says when I try to call and activate it is that it's already active
but the screen still says "unregistered SIM"
according to the site, if what I read is true
unless it still says that after 3 or 4 hours, I might not have to call the hotline up again
so I get to wait until tomorrow pretty much to really have a real chance to use the phone
that's just best case scenario
worst case, I'll get to spend 20-30 minutes on hold with Habeeb the Indian or one of his wives
meanwhile they manage to make me feel both homicidal and like I'm an inch tall
I know all too well about how Foamy felt dealing with Snelt Brand -or whatever it was-
I *love* tech support [/sarcasm], I'm only happier that its not about my computer
so that's what I have to look forward to
that and the ability to finally do laundry at home
we finally lucked up and acquired a washer and a dryer while we still had money
so now I get to hang out at home and do my laundry here at the house
I wonder if anyone'll miss me
now I get to wonder, when the hell does mama get to have any time to herself away from home???
so maybe by the weekend I'll have most of our anciently dirty clothes clean
maybe even put away in some of those groovy Space Bags they keep advertising
I figured they'd work just as well as plastic boxes and be a lot easier to manage and maneuver
that and hell, for damn near $45 they'd damn sure better be worth every penny
so alrightey then, my venting session is over
