so, 'i dont wanna be lonely, i just wanna be alone' is a nice line from a silverchair song which helps explain a little of the way towards someone needing a break from humanity, or just an introvert.
and, i sort of align within those perimeters. after a long day of interacting with people i wanna be by myself.
however, long days of interacting with people are rare... but they are also the most common form of interaction i get.
its like all of my social is concentrated.
i find myself on the line between alone and lonely often enough, due to the sheer amount of alone i get, that could be remedied with very small amounts of input.
a typical day contains absolutely 0% speaking to anyone i know and like or just like. even to the point where i spend 9 hours a day 5 days a week without a voice that doesnt just give straight answers to commands. atm i get about about three hours on every other wednesday and the weekend where i talk to someone. the weekend is usually anthony, but it shouldnt all BE anthony.
basic things like having a 5 mins chat with a friend every other day would be cool. but im not a chatty person at all. hanging out for a while on another day of the week would work too. but at the moment its ridiculously inconvenient for all involved with work patterns and such and usually has me taking long journeys home on the night buss. typically i tend not to be involved closely with people, though we like each other and i know them well, they dont know me as well, so i guess my presence as a friend isnt that strong, even if the friendship is. i still get sought out and invited and etc, but i wouldnt be randomly knocking on most peoples doors.

our boiler broke every year at least once, and if a radiator next to the boiler is scortching and the furthest from it is freezing, and there is nothing else in the pipes, i can tell you why, and i know what rust and air sound like in the pipes.
my uncles do plumbing work semi regularly and i used to talk to them and ask questions if they fixed any of our stuff.
my dad fitted carpets between jobs so i know how that works too.
i am not an expert in these things, but i will only tell you what i know when i know i know it.
