Sigh, for whatever reason, the link doesn't work for me. Oh well, it's nice to have you back, even if it's only for a moment so that you can rec something I can't see.... ;-)
Thank you! So now I want to see the show. Except it didn't look slashy too me. I could only make out one male lead? I tend to be face blind, especially when I don't know someone. So it could be that there were two guys and my brain only saw one? I don't know. But it looked like fun. And I trust you.
Should I ask my family to get me the DVDs for Birthmas?

Hah, good point! That was a character vid, not a shipper vid.
So, including this new one, I only know of six Once A Thief vids ever made (vidding was not so big back then). One of them is still available online, at http://pteropus.com (which then requires a login, which you have to email and ask them for). The vid is "When I'm Up I Can't Get Down" and it is a shipper vid, so you'll see some of the slash potential. :-)
You should definitely get your family to get you the DVDs for Birthmas, so that you can call me up and we can talk about the show and you can, if you want, read my epic Mac/Vic story. Yup. :-)
(Though, just to warn you-this is not one of those shows with good stories. It has good action scenes and great slashiness and is funny and, well, kinda weird -- it's Canadian, eh? And I like the characters, though with only one season they don't get to develop as much as I'd like. And there is

I expect I'll be getting the DVDs (if they are available in the states and Hubby doesn't wait until the last minute to try and find them) for Birthmas. Assuming I do get them, we will have to, I don't know, watch them together or something (as in pick a day to watch a particular episode and then call/Skype/email/something each other after we've both watched? Something). We can squee together.
And then I get to read your story, which is the best impetus to get me to see the show, as I adore your work! And Epic, eh? I can't wait!
As for the quality of the show: I'm a huge dS fan, and as much as I love the show, I can't actually say that I think it's all good. Fun, slashy as hell, adorable talented actors; yes, yes and yes, but good? Well, not always...
