It's really hard to look for a job when there arent any openings.
I did my reasearch. I looked up how many job openings there were this year in CT. 80. Thats it. Now when you figure that 65-80% of them require expirence or web design, so that leaves me with a handful to choose from. Not to mention I have to compete with every other graphic designer out there.
I think the most discouraging thing is going to websites like ctjob.com or whatever, pulling down the tab for jobs and not even seeing a tab for graphics or arts/media.
Either that or the 9$ an hour with no benefits Graphics job i am struggling to get.
So yeah. Moving might have to be an option.
