Wow, this is devastating. I know so many people that live in Japan that it's not funny... and that's not even including idols.
It's very scary, knowing that so many people are going through trauma at this stage, the original quake was 8,000 times more powerful than the one that killed 148 people in Christchurch recently and six of the aftershocks were more powerful than the Christchurch earthquake as well. I'm not saying that we shouldn't be worried about the people of New Zealand as well, because we should, I'm just pointing out just how life-threatening these quakes are. It scares me that two shinkansen have been reported missing, both carrying hundreds of people, and that also a boat has gone missing, with at least one hundred people on it.
I really hope that people won't take the same view that a lot of people did with the Queensland floods, saying that they should have been more prepared, because I find that really heartless. Yes, this has happened before, but really, who was going to be prepared for an earthquake of 8.9 on the richter scale?
These are some of the worst earthquakes ever, I'm really hoping that they get through this, I know my prayers are with them, I hope you join me on this front.
