It’s been a little longer then a long time.

It’s been a nice ride folks, but I’m running out of steam.

I’m sharing a two bedroom apartment in Lompoc, with my significant other of 8 months. I've got a best friend, Kala, but Bush sent her to Afghanistan, god willing she’ll be back Late January. I adopted a dog and named her Jojo...

In the game of life you’re always striving for some goal, the strange thing is for most people that goal seems to constantly be changing.

I didn’t want to deal with theater anymore, because I got sick of it being my entire life. So I quit.

I became a park aid for a while and that was great! I had lots of time, and time off was easy to get… but I got tired of not having any money, and there weren’t enough hours available in the winter.

So I got a job at a resort across the street for more money! But it just opened and the manager keeps switching the hours around, so it’s hard to plain fun time. Plus my Boyfriend works 7a-3:30p and I work 5p-11:30p with a 40 minute commute we only get to see each other on our days off. And since my best friend is off disarming bombs in the middle east, and I’m having some trouble with my boyfriend… there’s no one to talk to but my dog… and she has a mysterious rash that costs me 150$ every two weeks.

They really want to hire me on as a Interpretive Specialist at the State Parks, which would be perfect! You get to attend classes about California, and then design programs to share that information with the public… but you have to have a degree… I’m missing my damn degree…

So now I’m thinking of giving up everything in Lompoc, to move back in with Mom and Dad and get my stupid, god damn, piece of paper college degree….

But I love my apartment… and the central coast… and my stupid ichy dog… and when Kala comes home she’ll live up here and… sigh.

My ultimate goal is to own a house… on a few acres… where I can grow fruit and vegetables, and herbs… with some chickens and a milk cow… and a work shop in the back were I can make and repair stuff… and once every couple of months I’d like to be able to drop everything and go explore something amazing, like Yosemite, or Yellowstone or missions or ghost towns, or islands and waterfalls.

And you know what… I do think it’s possible… because this year I traveled to Hawaii, and I went cross county with Shannon… and I did all that making 9.50$ an hour… there must be a way.

I just wish it didn’t mean me giving up my apartment and going back to school.
