stupid work...
So I've decided Dragon Con is evil. I am unable to go this year, but I looked in my mailbox this morning, and found the "Dragon Con Progress Report" they had mailed me...showing all the fun that I was going to be missing, including Adam Baldwin, Summer Glau, and Alan Tudyk from Serenity, Nicholas Brendon from Buffy, Andy Hallet from Angel, James Callis from BSG, and Christopher Judge from SG-1. Even Matthew Lewis and Katie Leung from the Harry Potter movies, for the younger nerd in me.
I mean, yeah, I did get to see Adam Baldwin last year, along with Ron Glass, and the lovely Jewel Staite and Morena Baccarin to boot, but Baltar and Apollo weren't there, and I had to listen to Richard Hatch and watch his egocentric trailers of projects that will never happen. Although the stunning number 6 showed up to save that segment. I had to deal with the worst run Buffy Content I could imagine, with staff who hadn't seen all of the shows, and a crappy karaoke event with NO MUSIC. This year, Xander is there, and LORNE! you can't TELL me they'll have crappy Karaoke with Andy Hallett there.
Damnit, next year I'm making sure I have enough vacation time to go.
