I'm already feeling the withdrawal symptoms, knowing I only have two more weeks before my wonderful show is over forever. At least we know things will be completely wrapped up.
In this episode, Pullo and Vorenus continue to prove that they are soulmates. Women come and go (and boy do the women go on this show; it's like the kiss of death from one of the Cartwright men on the Ponderosa) but their bond, their connection is unbreakable. That last hug between them, first the tentative pats, then pulling each other in, holding onto each other in with both arms, with a kiss to each cheek, I need screencaps of this LIEK WOAH. And they way they just stared at each other without words, drinking in what could be the last time their last moments together, God, it just doesn't take much to feel the love these guys have for each other. I'm going to really be sad when this show end and there will be no more Pullo/Vorenus for me to fall in love with. I mean I can glean out the subtle slashiness or even the close friendship between a lot of pairs of men in TV shows and films, but this show just lays it all out for us to see and doesn't shy away from it.
Oh, Octavian. What a way to win a bride. Such romance! "You look presentable. Are you fertile? How would you like to be married to me? Okay then, we will be married." And Octavian continues to make everyone around him miserable. But Atia, oh Atia, I know I say this every week, but it's always true! She still can't win. Even when she tries to do something nice for her daughter, to make her happy, her daughter still gets her heart broken. It was lovely to see her consoling Octavia, though.
Um, did anyone think Octavian kind of liked it when Antony was nearly wringing his neck?
I so called that Pullo was going to headbutt Memmio. He was just asking for it. And the biting the tongue off? HAHAHA, so hardcore. Pullo always loves a good fight, and that snake-tongue needed to go. Oh, and I couldn't be happier that it was Pullo was the one who killed Vorena the Elder's beau. It always seems to be Pullo killing the men who seduce the women in Vorenus' life. Hmm.
I am so glad I already knew Eirene was going to die. My mother told me she was happy I told her, too, because she probably would have started crying otherwise.
OMG, I love Lepidus. He always gets the short end of the stick and knows it, but he's still bringing on the dry humor.
I'm probably missing things. Must. See. Again.

copperbadge is writing The Hiatus Continuations, his own version of episodes of Heroes to fill the time during the hiatus. Sam loves Claude, so we can expect a lot of him, and he thinks Nathan is DaddyAwesomePants, so I'm looking forward to cool Nathan action. Eee!
