Let's Go Dodgers!
I've been a Dodger fan my whole life. I was but a child when they won the World Series the last time, and my favorite Dodger has long been Orel Hershiser. But for several years now, Kenley Jansen has started fighting Orel for the top spot. It would be so wonderful for him to close out a win tonight.
I also love the overlap between the Dodgers and the Kings. They share an organist, one Kings player is married to a member of the Dodgers front office, and at least 7 Kings players were at Game 6 yesterday, going nuts like the rest of us.
(Though I can already see Yu Darvish is having a rough start. I also want the Dodgers to win for Yu after that Astro player, Gurriel, made that racist gesture and used a derogatory term when referring to Yu during one of the earlier games. I didn't have anything against the Astros until that incident. That guy should be out of the World Series, but no, he still gets to play, and if the Astros win, he gets rewarded for that kind of behavior)
