Yesterday's post-football episode of Hawaii Five-0 had great ratings. Here's hoping the new viewers keep up with the show and keep the ratings high! My grandmother's a huge fan of the show, too. She's always had a lot of Hawaiian friends, has visited Hawaii several times, and loves Scott Caan (and his dad), so it's a perfect show for her.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan in talks to star in upcoming Starz series Magic City, which seems a bit like Mad Men meets Boardwalk Empire. I totally forgot they were developing this show. If it has JDM, I have to give it a chance.
Finally got to see The King's Speech yesterday. \o/ Lovely lovely lovely. And with bonus I, Claudius as well as a mini-P&P reunion!
Watched a few more festivids. OMG a CHiPs fanvid! I grew up on that show. During the theme song, my brother would always stand like this right in front of the TV and bounce up and down. And it had Chris Pine's daddy!
Caught most of the webcast of Adele's acoustic concert today. Unfortunately, I missed the first half hour when she performed "Turning Tables" (here's the album version). Hopefully it will show up on YouTube soon. Someone was nice enough to put "Set Fire to the Rain" up already.
Back in December, I mentioned watching the Sondheim Celebration thingy on Great Performances. I couldn't find the stellar performance of "A Little Priest" by Patti Lupone, George Hearn and Michael Ceveris on YouTube, but I did find the reunion of Chip Zien and Joanna Gleason, singing "It Takes Two" from Into the Woods. It's been over 20 years, and they still look and sound fabulous.
