Wow, I just received an e-mail from an old friend. A very old friend. I knew him from kindergarten to fourth grade, until we moved, and I haven't spoken to him since then. Apparently, he stumbled across an elementary school picture of my brother on someone's Facebook, I guess someone in my brother's network (in recent years, Brother has become reacquainted with many old elementary school friends through MySpace and Facebook), which led him to my brother's Facebook, so he got in touch with Brother, who gave him my e-mail address. I'm going to have to have a talk with mi hermano about giving out my contact information without at least giving me a heads-up because I nearly deleted the e-mail, assuming it was spam. Anyway, I don't even know why I'm posting about this except that it sort of blew my mind. He and his twin sister were some of the few old friends I've thought about over the years and more than once I've wondered what happened to them. Well, now I do! ::laughs::
