I'm very happy my father is out of the hospital, but I just saw the hospital bill. If I used profanity, I'm sure I could come up with some colorful language to describe how I feel about it.
At least this makes me feel better: A flashmob performance of "96,000" from In the Heights for Lin-Manuel Miranda at Universal CityWalk! I loved his reaction. OMG, I'm going to see him onstage a week from tomorrow!!! \o/
Andy Roddick is out of Wimbledon. I'm not shocked because Andy can be inconsistent, but I am a bit disappointed in his performance. Still, his competitor, Yen-Hsun Lu from Chinese Taipei played very solidly. Rafa has to play Soderling next, which will be a very good match. I don't care for Soderling's personality, but the guy can play some great tennis. And my three favorite ladies--the sisters Williams and Clijsters--are still around, so yay!
Whenever someone scores in the World Cup, I love changing the station quickly to Univision just to hear the commentator's "GOOOOOOOOOOOOL GOOOOOOOOOOOL GOOOOOOOOOOL GOOLLAA GOOLLAA GOOLLAA GOOLLAA GOOLLAA GOOLLAA GOLAAAAZO GOLAAAAZO AAAZO AAAZO AAAZOOOOO!!!" ;-)

And now something that came to mind after watching Leverage last night. Aldis playing violin and Christian playing guitar made me think of violinist Annie & keyboardist Sonny, the street performing duo in Treme, which got me thinking about the whole team in that type of scenario: Nate being a street magician, Parker the local pickpocket, and I couldn't think of what Sophie would be. A spoken word-type person? Fortune teller? IDEK.
