Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and In the Heat of the Night all on at the same time! What's a girl to do? I think I'll go with 'the motive which was money and the body which is dead.' Rod Steiger is so amazing, spot-on performance. I used to love the TV series in the early 90s. It was really good, but sometimes sad, especially the episode with the department's first female officer.

My brother e-mailed me from Japan yesterday. He's there for three weeks with two friends of his, staying with one of those friends' family. That boy is Mr Netspeak. If I didn't know better, I would think he was 14 and not 24. I suppose it's because he doesn't use the internet in the way I do.
The Sting came on again the other day. Last time I mentioned the film, I forgot the amusing things my mother told me about the two guys who played Lonnegan's (Robert Shaw) chief minions. Apparently, my mum saw the the smaller of the two at the airport back in the late 70s and he was checking her out! My aunt was acquainted with the taller one, and he kept trying to ask her out. It's a small world after all...
