Yay, Mickey's Christmas Carol was on this evening! I love Mole.

A little HSM in my neighborhood: my mom saw Sharpay & Ryan's daddy, Vance Evans, at Target this morning buying toilet paper! ;-)

First bit of news on M. Night Shyamalan's casting for Avatar: The Last Airbender. I'm warning you now, the choice for Zuko is FULL OF FAIL (I'm tempted to use my tinfoil hat Signs icon for this post, but I'll restrain myself). And is it really that hard to find some actors of color? ::rolls eyes::

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows! ::maniacal laugh::

Magically, my errant icons have returned. Um, yay?

Someone on fanficrants brought up another one of my greatest grammar pet peeves for fic. Use of 'loose' when it should be 'lose.' I can forgive it once (though I will physically cringe), but if it comes up again and I'm not absolutely loving that fic, close goes that tab.

I thought I'd share my favorite fics originally posted for the TMC Games a few weeks ago over at fedal_slash (the Roger Federer/Rafael Nadal tennis RPS comm) that are now crossposted outside friendslock. If you don't know who Roger and Rafa are, just know that they're the two best tennis players in the world, which means they're rivals, though friendly rivals who touch each other...a lot. Anyway, Estrangement by niennah is a sweet coming-out-to-the-world fic, and while I initially thought another one of her recent fics, Forever to Manacore, wasn't going to be to my tastes, I was completely proven otherwise and found the end totally squee-worthy. Double Meaning by beeatthedisco starts with my favorite premise for Roger and Rafa: deciding to play doubles together (and I'd just die if they ever did IRL). Along the way, however, Roger figures out something far more important. This fic also ends exactly where I was hoping it would, which made for a very satisfying read.

In this week's Pushing Daisies, a crazy captain is saved by a gay cruise.

Chuck's daddy is pesky.

OMG RAIN SLICKERS! OLIVES AND CODS AND PIES!

Olive & Emerson in unison: OH HELL NO!

"Does she toot glitter?"

Itty Bitty! Aww, I am so shipping Emerson/Olive, and I could watch them solving mysteries and going on adventures all day long.

Mario Van Peebles directed this episode of Law & Order? Huh, haven't seen him in ages.

Oh Lupes, trying to pick up a prostitute, you just scream 'cop,' and awkward cop, to boot.

I need icon of Jack's hand on Mike's shoulder. Yes I do. ;-P

I always find it so amusing when Mike gets angry. And his big-eyed expressions while the girl on the stand was saying crazy things? Hilarious.

And Vivica A. Fox runs circles around everyone. Good show, Vivica, but poor team not putting the right person behind bars. Can't win 'em all.

law&order, recs, pushing daisies
