I have to get this out of the way now. I can't move onto happier things until I let it all out: Okay, so I can only handle so many people operating on false assumptions at one time. Half the characters on this show are being lied to or are misguided and willing to kill thinking they're doing the right thing. Now, I get that this happens pretty often on TV shows, it makes for drama and suspense, and I expect it to happen to different characters, but not ALL AT THE SAME TIME. We've also been missing the humor lately. Even Dexter, for all its morbidity and tension, never loses its sense of humor. And my mom's right. Every episode without Nathan really suffers.

Anyway, starting at the beginning. Go Sandra, keep that gun on Bob. He was right to be cautious of her. She married Noah. She's not a pushover. And on the Noah front, I'm glad he just told Mohinder how ignorant he was being when it comes to the Company. I still don't get why Mohinder ever felt the Company deserved his trust. Even if he had thought they changed the way they do business, that isn't enough.

Hey, was young Victoria really Cadman from SGA? That seems to be the word on the street. Is this confirmed? And speaking of Victoria, wish she had stuck around longer, but I love Adam's calling card. ;-) And yes, Peter, you are kind of dim to trust him so readily.

Nice punch, Micah. The kid's been asking for it. ;-) Though no cookie for you, Monica, for taking Micah with you on such a dangerous mission. And where did your fighting abilities go all of a sudden? I thought you knew jujitsu! No cookie for you, PTB.

You know it's sad when West turns into the sensible one. Claire wanting to call The Haitian? ::sigh:: If she thought for a split second of what her dad would want her to do, that wouldn't have even been anywhere on the list. If you couldn't listen to him when he was alive, why can't you at least do what he would have wanted when (you think) he's dead?

Poor Ando. He's really been handed the short end of the stick lately. Always left behind. :-(

Bad job of being inconspicuous, Elle. But I actually did kinda like Elle in this episode, for the few scenes that she was in, calling Claire Pom-Pom and spilling Slusho all over herself. And Claire ready to wring her neck was amusing as well. ;-)

I find this show more enjoyable when I stop thinking too hard about it. Well, let's hope that next week's sorta finale will be sufficiently exciting and logical (the latter of which may be a bit too much to hope for). I wonder how the spoilers floating around will be changed, if the strike isn't resolved and they have to use the alternate ending. For all of my gripes, I can't help but be curious.
Now, my love for Chuck knows no bounds.

How much do I love how they handled the Bryce situation? KLINGON CODE. ::flails::

Chuck (seeing Sarah blurry above him): Heeeey.
Chuck (seeing Casey blurry above him): Aaahhhh! NOT PRETTY!

Thanksgiving with the Bartowskis: SO ADORABLE. Casey wears a suit and Captain Awesome cooks. Is there anything Awesome can't do? I think not. Because he's AWESOME. And putting his hand on Casey's bicep, talking about "WATERSPORTS," calling Chuck "Chuckles," and "What do you think about a destination Christmas?" Yes, Awesome, you win.

Also wonderful was Chuck acting rashly after seeing Sarah and Bryce kiss, but then realizing he made a mistake.

I love Casey's itchy trigger finger. "No guns at Thanksgiving." For all of Casey's perfect agent-ness, he still has a few rough edges that need to be smoothed over. ;-)

"We're going to have a pineapple situation." Morgan really came through on the busiest shopping day of the year, bucking up the wayward Nerd Herders and "saving" Anna. Those two are so funny together.

The Showdown in the Buy More: I love how Casey has everything tricked out. First the Nerd Herder-mobile, and now desks. And with a gun in each hand. Go Casey! Also, the action spy music and slo-mo as Sarah and Bryce join in the fight, complete with Mr and Mrs Smith moves in unison. Very amusing.

They could very easily have made Bryce coming back very annoying, for us to dislike Bryce for disrupting the balance of things, for us to dislike Bryce because Bryce himself is annoying, but no! Watching Sarah and Bryce both pulling the vest off Chuck just made me think, "OMG, that is SO OT3." I'm so glad they didn't kill Bryce off, so there's always the chance he may come back in the future. But until that day, I wouldn't mind reading (just a little) FIC.
Thank goodness Chuck has been picked up for a full season. It really deserves it. And here's a nice little interview with Adam Baldwin.

Oh, and Journeyman? That's more like it. We'll just see how much longer the show lasts. :-\

The Pegasus Tinies: A Dreadful Abecedarium, with Selected Illustrations by
argosy and
_kiden is one of the most awesome things I've seen in awhile. It fulfills the Ways to Die Challenge over at
sga_flashfic, so if you like SGA and Edward Gorey (heck, even if you only like one of the two), I highly recommend it.
