At first I was thinking that the Doakes thing was another surprisingly realistic dream that Dexter was having. And then it wasn't! Oh, Doakes. I can't see a way for both of them to come out of this.

Pretty much from the first ep with Lila (well, maybe the second), I've just been thinking, "Please just kill her already, Dexter." And I really think he's going to make that decision. Also, I've never believed that Lila 'accidentally' killed her boyfriend (or was it husband? I can't remember now) in that fire.

Loved the Rita/Dexter scenes in this one, and the amusing phone call-between-FBI-guys thing.

I love Doakes, so I don't want him to be out of the picture at the end of the season, but I don't want Dexter's world to be shattered, either. Eek! I guess we'll find out in the next three episodes!

Oh yeah, that Lila is a piece of work. She has to go, but he's really going to have to be careful now that she's insinuated herself into his circle of co-workers.

I so often dislike main canon het relationships, but Dexter and Rita are so adorable together! I also really like Rita this season.

I enjoy Doakes and his bad attitude (badittude), so I don't want him to die either. I wonder if he and Dexter can come to an understanding.

Agreed. I like their interactions, and I actually kind of want it to work. Except then I feel sorry for Rita, getting duped again in some ways.

Holy. Shit. I'm so pissed that I saw the preview for next week before I got to see the ep. I need to just wait until Monday when I can pause as I like, and keep the TV off. But after last week, who COULD??

I was kinda weirded out by Deb's tits on Lundy, but their kisses are just so cute. But her freak out about being Lundy's right hand at LaGuerta seemed perfect. Good timing to blow up and confess that she's sleeping with the boss to the one who slept her way (back) up to the top. :) And yes, I want an icon of Angel's WTG Lundy face. :D Priceless. ANd Lundy's face on that one was pretty impressive too.

What the hell is he going to do about the bullet wound? I found it hilarious, however, that Dex locks up Doakes and goes back to work, on a date with Rita, etc. from the preview. Must have been so healing to confess to Doakes, knowing that rule #1 was guiding him.

::laughs:: That whole scene was hilarious. And I like that even though they're surprised about Deb and Lundy, they're not grossed out by it. Lundy can just think, "Uh-huh, I'm the man!"

I don't know how Dex is going to hide that bullet wound. Dress it up and keep the limp down, I guess. Er, good luck with that, Dex. :-\ And oh yeah, now Dexter doesn't have to hide a thing from Doakes. I cannot wait until their scenes together next week! Now they can really mouth off to each other, no holds barred.
