Been watching too much Little Britain lately. It's my mom's fault.
Slash is CANON. And HP fandom explodes. I mean, it was obvious, of course, but it's just so funny that it's true.
mon_starling, the first fanartist to pimp this pairing, and whoever made
this vid, can rightly say, "I told you so." I do understand the criticism of this sort of announcement after the fact, though. Oh, and lastly,
this comment FTW. Actually, that entire post is filled with LULZ. Like
this and
this and
this and
that and
that and
that, and I could go on and on.
Does anyone know if/when new episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender repeat? I used to watch it, then I stopped, and now I caught some of it again, and want to get back into it. Also started watching Bleach and am totally lost.
David Anders' Peter O'Toole impersonation?
Classic.
Oh bother. The one week I don't watch Pushing Daisies is the week where the guest star is someone I think is totally awesome. And for some reason I can't get ABC.com episode player to work. ::sighs and pokes it with a stick::
I have one thing and one thing only to say about CSI: NY:
Breaking up with Mac via snail mail? HARSH.
And CSI is better than previous weeks. Last week, I was bummed because of the lack of Hodges. This week, mucho Hodges, Nick and Rick working together, and even though the GSR was touted as being an important part of the episode from the previews, it was only one scene. They also toned down the near-annoyingness of new CSI Ronnie (and does this mean we never get Tech Ronnie anymore because they may not want to have two characters with the same name? If so, boo to that). Also, lighthearted Greg is back, at least for the moment. THANK GOD. He's been so somber lately and hasn't had the chance to be excited about his job. I love when he uses Ring-A-Ding Kid lingo. I would so buy your book, Greg!
Law & Order: Criminal Intent was filled to the brim with awesome guest stars this week:
Amy Acker from Angel, Frank John Hughes from Band of Brothers, and Jim Gaffigan, one of my brother's favorite comedians. Hey, what does anyone think about the new girl partnered with Logan? I'm okay with her, but she really needs to try and stop pouting/pursing her lips. It may just be a natural inclination, but I'd try to cut back on that, if I were her.
Numb3rs time:
Liz, why must you be here? Every episode she's in is automatically brought down a notch in my book. Unfortunate.
Dude, Colby, why you keep trying to jump from amazing heights? I love ya, but you are not the Six Million Dollar Man. You'll just break your legs and then David will have to push your wheelchair and you'll be back to riding a desk.
Otherwise, it was a good episode. I really liked Colby's moment with Megan. And we finally get a glimpse of what it was Megan was doing during maternity leave. Did the sound crap out for anyone else during Megan and Don's interrogation? We got music, but no voices. I would have figured it to have been done for effect, but it continued into Charlie's scene with Alan, then with a crackling noise the vocal track came back. Weird. And speaking of that scene, I know you want to learn the material for your class, Alan, but isn't Charlie's preoccupation for finding a serial killer in an active case just a little bit higher on the scale of importance?
Hah, look who showed up on Flash Gordon:
General Hammond!
And secondly, how low budget are we that Dale has to put on her shirt backwards to make it look like it's high-necked (to contrast her with the rival newslady whose cleavage is showing) rather than just buy a turtleneck?
And lastly, SGA. Even knowing the spoilers, it was still OMG CRACKTASTIC.
Two Three Four things:
1) ::in South Park voice:: OMG, THEY KILLED KATE! [I'll let you finish the line ;-)]
2) Isn't Jewel Staite so adorable? I just want to pinch her cheeks. I love seeing her on a weekly basis. And I love Teyla, too. Just had to throw that out there.
3) Haha, Alien shout-out.
4) McKay & Sheppard. Rowing & angry grappling. That is all.
and a Bonus: Oceanside mess hall? Rockin'.
