I HAVE A JOB!!!
I just got the call about 15 minutes ago. Claire's offered me the job--$11.38/hr, full time, 50% discount on store merchandise, really good benefits, and 2 (I think) weeks training at a store a lot closer and easier to get to starting next week. I will officially learn how to pierce ears (and will avoid telling Grey any details) and all kinds of other stuff. AND I don't have to go through with that "audition" thing for Wilson's.
As much as the discount on all things leather would be awesome, I think I'd probably end up spending way too much of my paycheck on it. And with Claire's, I might be able to pick up some more hours somewhere else (like Sharper Image, but probably only on a seasonal basis and, you know, I could deal with that).
I think we're going to use my achievement of "status: employed" as an excuse to go out to dinner tonight. I'm all for that. ^_^
Now, I need to start thinking about finding an apartment of my own...
