"Haha you fool that's a finger!"

For some odd reason I think that's my favourite line from the play. Please don't ask me why, the only answer you would get is some sort of distressed mumble and maybe a few eye blinks. ...Maybe.

I have no energy. None. I just don't want to do anything anymore. I just want to close my eyes, open them and have everything done for me. Not gonna happen though. Sigh.

In attempts for something comical.

..."My face that so offends you / Is the sum / Of blows your lust delivered / One by one."

Eros is my hero.

"Better my battered visage / Bruised but hot, / Than love dissolved in loss / Or left to rot."

Oh that reminds me. I wrote a poem today. Nothing big, but I like it. It's called, "Medusa."

"What is the beauty in my mind
That cannot reach human eyes
Something lost not to find
A story lit up by lies
An empty woman left in shame

Tales of horror have reached your shores
That which was once beautiful turned to stone
Said to wait in the sunken moors
Up high on her golden throne
The whispers bring about my name

Emerald eyes never to be seen
Only the serpant curls that frame my face
With only a glance they can barely scream
They meet a death of disgrace
All the world knows my fame

With immortality comes a price
Mine is to wander alone
No company at all, not even mice
Stuck in this prison that is my home
Medusa I am, with no one to blame"

I wrote this and my friend Eric says, "You do know that there were 3 Gorgons? 3 sisters?" Completely ruining it for me. I know that there were three, but I was trying to get sympathy from the reader, because I was showing Medusa in a different way. Sarah made me feel better though with her comment, "Eric does know that he is a tall poo head? right?"

Ah love, thy name is laughter.
