D: God I love the comic store. WHICH IS LIKE THE ONLY ONE AROUND HERE AT ALL, it's crazy bullshit.
So as my Christmas present, Ari bought me (er, well, she paid for most of it XD) TFA: Arrival 1-5, and I love it, and I want to make this comic book visiting getting thing a weekly, y'know, thing, and Serenity: Better Days. (And s'more of those stupid rubber TF07 keychain-y things we spent like 10 bucks on at the theaters that one time, getting nobody new. XD)
The library has a very small sci-fi/fantasy section, and most of the Trek books they have are Shatnerverse. :| Uncool. It was a slow day today, ahaha. Grabbed two Trek comics and Marvel 1602 while I was there.
Have I ever told you guys about my geeky family? That we have seriously a fuckton of Trek books? Because we do. A lot. (Why did nobody inform me we've got the Starfleet technical manual? That should've been part of my freakin' cirriculum, guys. I know we have the technical manual for the NCC-1701-D, because my bro's got that, and I've read it. Didn't know about this one.) And I DO want all these post-Nemesis books...gah. And the A Time To series, which leads up TO Nemesis.
Oh well. ALSO, I did NOT know Heroes: Volume Two had come out. 8OOO It's $30...SO IT'S GOING ON MY CHRISTMAS LIST. The Dresden Files: Urban Jungle collection was there for $20, and now they're starting a comic version of the first book, so I won't pick that one up. BSG volumes 1 and 3. There's some interesting TNG AU-verse series starting I might have to pick up... Not to mention the action figures, shirts, and busts that place has. OH, and they have the Sonic Archives books. Volumes 1-9. And another sort of collection volume 1 that supposedly pulls together the best stories from the Super Specials. $10 each. Going on my list. I've always wanted to catch up on the entire series, and we're coming up on #200 now, so. XD
I NEED TO CLEAN MY ROOM so I can get into my little plastic safe thing where I keep my Sonic comics so I can put my OTHER comics in there. And maybe clean out my D&D stuff off my one bookshelf to make room for more manga, comic collections, and books.
I HAVE NO ROOOOOM...ahaha. It's fucking cold today, I'm so glad I didn't walk to the library.
