(no subject)
LOOOOST~ (I was so confused--I was sure it was at 9 ;o; which kind of screwed up my plans for the night, so now I'm getting in my bio essay writing NOW instead of 10...but at least it gave me time to finish What Price Honor?, which took, what, two days? XD Now am on Surak's Soul which has longer chapters and a dedication to the masterful Dave Stern. Yay.)
Also, this is two nights in a row that I've had dreams that somehow, some way, ended up with Torchwood. (I still remember some stuff before the TW bit the other night, and last night's dream at first consisted of Atlantis before that. I'll have to see if I can describe them tomorrow.)
One of mah buddehs created some kinda fic prompt table that is for no particular fandom or anything, just for free use. XD Which is great. I'll write some Ent-fic, prolly, and TF-fic, obviously, and...whatever other fics strike my fancy! Maybe we'll see the return of DW-fic. :P The fact that Ent-fic is returning is amazing enough.
Speaking OF Ent-fic, and before I get back to describing the structures and functions of sacromeres, capillaries, and neurons, I must say...I've never really slashed in that fandom. But lo, it was the first fandom in which I encountered slash and indeed first read slash. (At the time I disliked it except under very specific circumstances. XD I was so silly and fickle back then.) I can read and enjoy it, but never actively sought it (and, to be honest, a lot of the stuff I've found anyway have been mushy and awful and with pre-established relationships and whatever). I suppose the idea always was there, and the subtext most certainly is, yet I never actively slashed. And now, all of a sudden, some what if missing scene kinda thing for WPH pops into my head, and the next thing I know, I'm spending most of econ daydreaming about T/R. The fuck? Hell, I could just as easily slash A/R or A/T...or less frequently (sadly, as I could never choose between any single one of them) A/R/T. ...And is it sad that, while I've been out of the fandom (seeing as there's been no fandom to SPEAK of for a number of years), I still know the lettering for these pairings? >> R/S and all...tho you could vary with T'Pol. The only true OTP I was 100% positive I shipped is Travis and Hoshi, because mygodtheyaresocutesquee~
SO YOU KNOW MY SLASH GOGGLES ARE ALWAYS ON, AND THEY DO EVERYTHING--hey, I'M not complaining if hot guys are discovering their love for each other in my head during econ~
Also speaking of Ent, there was a Phlox over at Sages, and a couple of us went SQUEE ENTERPRISE~! and got to talking about our Malcolm muses and who else we could pick up. So much love. ♥ I gotta admit, I always DID love the fandom. The people were always so very kind to each other.
