I HAVE A JOB!!! Well, technically an internship, but I’m getting paid and it’s 30 hours a week, and only for six months after which I’m pretty sure I could get most any job I want in entry-level publishing. They really like you to have experience. It’s just been such a stressful, exhausting process, all the interviews and waiting. The job is as an Editorial Assistant Intern with Blackwell Publishing, it’s a textbook publisher in Malden. Not too bad a commute and a very well-respected publisher. I’m really interested in Academic publishing now too, so I’m very excited.
Also? I’m reading a history of the Wars of the Roses for fun right now. I realize I’m special.
I owe myself Supernatural Season 2 as a present to myself for this accomplishment.
