If I live abroad it will never be America.

It has been ruled in America, by five male justices and against medical evidence, that the partial birth abortion of a fetus after the first twelve weeks of pregnancy is now illegal, even if the mother's life is danger. No late term abortions, no exceptions - doctors who break this law could face two years in prison.

Not to get into a big bad abortion debate here, but this is utter madness. This has nothing to do with when you consider a fetus to be alive, or whether abortion equals murder; the American government has now denied a number of women a life-saving procedure. How is this in anyone's best interests?

Apparently this has also set the stage for more changes to come. I am pro-choice, though when the anti-abortionist groups aren't bombing clinics (and therefore knowling killing people) or protesting against banning the death penalty I can see where they're coming from, but if they ever make it completely illegal, even when it's medically necessary?
